Walking Alongside Tri-Cities Families
Hello, I’m Jolene. As a mother of two with over 20 years of experience as a BC teacher and school counsellor, I’ve spent my career inside the school system, walking alongside children, youth, and families. My time in the education system gave me a front-row seat to the real, daily pressures our kids face today—from school-aged transitions and anxiety to the complex social worlds of adolescence.
My own early journey through postpartum depression and anxiety deeply transformed my practice. It gave me a profound, lived understanding of how vulnerable it feels to navigate the transitions of parenthood, and how desperately we need a soft, non-judgmental place to land when things get heavy.
Dedicated Child, Teen & Parenting Support
That early passion for secure attachment naturally grew into my life's work: supporting families as their children grow up. Today, my private practice in Port Coquitlam is dedicated to helping children, teenagers, and parents find a sense of ease again.
Whether we are utilizing child-centered play therapy for a younger child, providing a space for your teenager to find their voice, or collaborating on practical parenting coaching, my focus is entirely on helping your family build safety and connection. I am proud to serve families across Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, and Port Moody, offering a grounded space where you can feel empowered, deeply supported, and never alone.
